A LICENSING application has been submitted ahead of the arrival of a new nightclub in Oswestry.

Shropshire Council has received the application, for supply of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises, from Ro-Loz Catering Ltd for a new nightclub and bar in New Street.

The submission suggests that the licensing hours applied for are until 1am Mondays to Wednesdays and 5am on Thursdays to Sundays.

The club will open daily from 8am and all activities will be applied for from 08.30am until 30 minutes before close.

The application reads: “Where Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Years Eve falls on a Monday to Wednesday the finish time would be 5am.”

Some of the activities to take place at the new premises are plays, films, indoor sporting events, live music, recorded music, performance of dance, and anything of a similar description – all indoors.
