A man has been released on bail after smashing the windows of a tanning salon in the centre of Oswestry.
West Mercia Police have confirmed that a 46-year-old man has been released on bail after the windows of Fifty Shades of Tan on Cross Street in the town centre were smashed yesterday (March 7).
In a video that was shared on social media locally it showed a man attacking the shop while customers were still inside.
The attack left serious damage to the salon, leaving shards of broken glass showered all over the premises.

The owner of the business has said on posts on social media that shop will be open tomorrow (March 9) from 10am till 6pm after the premises has a “deep clean”.
She thanked the community for giving her support and apologised to the clients “who were on the beds whilst the attack happened”.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We responded to a report of criminal damage of a commercial premise on Cross street in Oswestry around 11.25am yesterday (Thursday 7 March).
“A 46-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a building- business and community. He was released on police bail.”
