Police have confirmed they will increase patrols in Morda, following vandalism incidents at the village primary school.
Morda Church of England Primary School has been targeted twice in the past couple of weeks and three times since the summer, when vandals damaged the building and equipment.
Since then, the police force has been talking to those in charge to find a way to stop these attacks.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “Following a number of criminal damage incidents at Morda CE Primary School in recent weeks, officers from the Oswestry safer neighbourhood team, in partnership with Shropshire Council, have visited the school to discuss the issue with the headteacher.

“Officers confirmed they would look to increase patrols in the area after dark, and also offered advice on measures the school could implement to increase security.”
Earlier this year the school suffered their first incident of vandalism when a shed was found damaged on the site.
In the past couple of weeks school officials have had to deal with two more incidents, when gates were broken, a wooden plate was kicked in, the lock to a shed with children’s toys was also broken and the equipment was spread around.
