LLANGEDWYN Football Club capped a momentous week off the pitch by being crowned champions of the JT Hughes Montgomeryshire League in midweek.
The Foxes were granted approval to install floodlights at their Recreation Field home by Powys County Council this week.
Meanwhile a 4-0 win at home to Churchstoke sealed the title on Tuesday.

Club spokesman Paul Buckley said: "Winning the league is a brilliant achievement for the club and for the lads and they deserve it for all their efforts.
"It’s been 20 years since the club last won a title so it’s been a long time coming.
"To win the league the same week as we also get planning approval for the flood lights is fantastic.
"This shows how ambitious we are as a club to keep moving forward."
