CHIRK AAA endured a weekend to forget after crashing to a 3-0 defeat at home to fellow JD Cymru North strugglers Llanidloes Town on Saturday.
Jamie Breese's 28th minute strike provided the breakthrough before Andy Evans doubled the Daffodils' lead early in the second-half and Elliot Jones' late penalty settled the outcome.
Ben Davies struck twice as Bow Street maintained pressure on the Ardal North East League leaders with a convincing 4-0 win at home to Llanrhaeadr.
Further goals from Ifan Burrell and Callum Ferreira ensured the Magpies three points.

Billy Clarke starred with two goals as Four Crosses produced a shock 5-2 derby win at home to Llansantffraid in the MMP Central Wales League North.
Jordan Dean, Tom Evans and Rhys Owen goals completed the scoring with the Saints replying through Khyam Wyton and Zack Davies.

Llangedwyn battled to a 2-1 extra-time win at home to Four Crosses Reserves in the first round of the league cup.
Owen Aspinall fired the Foxes into the lead only for Crosses to level late on through Jacob Edwards with Tom Kilvert netting the winner in extra-time.

Craig Scott starred with a hat-trick as Llanfyllin Town Reserves prevailed 7-5 winners at home to Waterloo Rovers Reserves.
William Davies also netted twice while Sam Norwood and Lewis Makin goals settled the outcome with Rovers replying with two goals from Adam Gough and goals from Scott Holley and Shaun Roberts.
Llanfechain were 2-0 winners at home to Churchstoke in the group stages of the Llansantffraid Village Cup despite the dismissal of Kye Smart.
