A BRAND new tapas restaurant will find its home in a popular Oswestry eatery when it opens next month.

Townhouse, in Willow Street, is expanding its horizons with a new Spanish delight - Tiempo - that will launch on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

The new eatery will be located in a refurbished and completely revamped front room of the restaurant.

The announcement was made by the Townhouse team on Facebook at the beginning of March where they said that: “Tiempo is an intimate, modern restaurant serving authentic Spanish tapas, wines, beers and sherry.

“Tiempo is simply another string to our bow.”

Teasing further, Townhouse announced the Iberian menu.

OTHER NEWS:

The menu will include everything from spicy paprika almonds, patatas bravas, to pork tenderloin and squid ink risotto with a whole calamari.

In terms of drinks the restaurant will be serving a range of tap cerveza (beer), white, red, rose and sparkling wine.

There will also be a selection of bottled Spanish beers, sherries and Vermouths.

The new eatery will have to live up to the already prestigious reputation of the pre-existent restaurant.

Back in 2021, Townhouse was one of just a handful of Oswestry restaurants to be included in Tripadvisor’s top 10 per cent of restaurants worldwide.
