WELCOME to camera club as we continue our regular showcasing of all the beauty of our fair part of the country.
It was once said that November was the most disagreeable month in the whole year but the month also has its pluses.
For it is the time of year for introverts to shine.
Indeed, at this time of year, many of us become introverts by default owing to the change in the clocks as days draw to an end earlier and nights drag on ever longer.
Our body clocks take some time to adjust to this new way of living after so many months of enjoying walks under the sun after work.

What a contrast to just a few months ago when the entire country was beset by drought and each day seemed warmer than the last.

Now the night provides the backdrop to our lives and it is up to each of us to muddle on through as best we can until spring beckons a new dawn.
Of course the benefits are to be found for any who cares to look for them.
Many of us love nothing more than the feasts that come with winter and also the peace it provides, at least after November 5 when of course our nights are lit up by fireworks and the glow of bonfires.
So grab an extra duvet from the airing cupboard and feast on your selection of treats as we prepare for our annual hibernation, just as we have always done.
Who knows you might even find something worth watching on TV?
