A VILLAGE climate group is extending an invite for people to join them at their Earth Day Fair this weekend.

The St Martins Climate Action group will be hosting the event for people to learn more about practical solutions to tackle environmental issues.

The parrish council working group is hosting the free community fair on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, at St Martins Village Hall Centre, in Overton Road.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from environmentally sustainable organisations and exhibitors who will be showcasing ways to achieve Net Zero, protect 30 per cent of nature by 2030, and promote other environmentally-friendly practices.

A spokesperson from the group said: “The event aims to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and provide practical solutions to reduce our environmental footprint and address various environmental and social issues.

“This is a great opportunity to learn, engage, and network with like-minded individuals and organisations who are passionate about environmental sustainability and creating a better future for our planet. “
