Duathlon King Steve Roberts from Oswestry Olympians, hit top form once again at the English Age Group Duathlon Championships at Clumber Park.
Steve whose preparation has been impacted by a recent illness, also had to contend with the very hot bank holiday sunshine. This result however qualified him for the 2019 World Duathlon Champs in Pontevedra Spain.

The Mynydd Myfyr Hill Run kicks off a series of races organised by Oswestry Olympians
On Sunday, May 27 Mynydd Myfyr Trefonen Hill Run starts at 11.30am.
This is a great introduction to off-road running and racing. Approximately 6.5 Kilometres (four miles) of mixed terrain on trail paths, through farmland and wooded areas and country lanes including climbs totalling 150 metres plus (500ft). Supporting the delightful Trefonen Hill Walk Weekend, which raises funds for various charities.
Venue is Trefonen Village Hall, SY10 9DY Entries are taken on the day
