TNS 4 Caernarfon Town 1

TNS put on a show for watching new head coach Anthony Limbrick with a comfortable victory over Caernarfon Town.

Blaine Hudson had already tested Caernarfon goalkeeper Josh Tibbetts when the home side opened the scoring with Hudson heading home Ben Clark's cross.

Adrian Cieslewicz forced Tibbetts into action and Ryan Brobbel was denied by the woodwork as the Saints continued their dominance.

The Canaries had to wait until the 39th minute for their first shot on goal with Mike Hayes firing into the side netting.

TNS built on their lead in the second-half and put the game to bed with a dominant display.

Brobbel carved his way through the Caernarfon defence to double the lead on 47 minutes.

Clark forced Tibbetts into action from the edge of the area on the hour and the visitors were left with a mountain to climb seven minutes later when Mike Parker saw red.

With the 10 men reeling the Saints capitalised as Brobbel lashed home to complete his double.

Hudson completed his own double with a close range header with five minutes remaining before Caernarfon celebrated a late consolation with Paulo Mendes reducing the arrears.
