MORDA United have completed a transfer coup this week with the signing of Danny Barton.

A club spokesman said: We are delighted to announce that prolific goalscorer Danny Barton has signed for the remainder of this season.

“In addition to the obvious goal threat Danny’s experience will be vital in helping the squad.”

Barton joins the Weston Road club from JD Cymru North side Guilsfield having also represented Newtown, Caernarfon Town and Rhyl in the JD Cymru Premier.

Barton will link-up with ex-Guils chief Michael Barton who took the helm after joining from Ardal North East League club Four Crosses at the end of 2020 and has since strengthened the squad.

Also arriving is forward Rhys Owen and defender Cameron Hughes while midfielder Richie Harris has also made the switch from Four Crosses.
