ST Martins year ended with a 4-0 defeat at Cheadle Town in the North West Counties League.
The home side never looked back after Liam Moran headed Harry Hatton's free-kick over goalkeeper Joao Mendes to open the scoring after nine minutes.
Moran continued to be a thorn in the Shropshire team's side with Cheadle doubling their lead on the stroke of half-time through Hatton's penalty.
Ben Brooks headed wide before Martins goalkeeper denied Andrew Lunt before the pressure finally told on the hour with Will Foster heading home.
Five minutes later Enock Amankwaa slotted home after being picked out by Hatton to complete the scoring.
Meanwhile with their match against Stockport Town cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch, Ellesmere Rangers travelled to Allscott Heath for a friendly.
Karl Bailey netted twice with summer signing Niall Thomas completing the scoring in a 3-1 win.
Elsewhere Gary Windsor struck early but could not prevent Prees storming back to complete a 4-1 win in the Salop Leisure League.
