TNS have swooped for midfielder Louis Robles.

The 23 year old arrives at Park Hall from JD Cymru Premier rivals Bala Town and represents Scott Ruscoe's first signing of the summer.

Robles made one English Football League appearance for Wigan Athletic before spells at Macclesfield Town and Gloucester City and a stint in the USA with Limestone Saints.

Robles made his debut in Welsh football with Bangor City before another spell abroad, this time with Spanish third tier side Atletico Baleras and fourth tier San Roque de Lepe.

A short spell at Grimsby Town in the English Football League followed in 2018 before returning to the Welsh set up with Bala Town last summer.

Robles struck 16 goals in 29 games for the Maes Tegid club to catch the eye of Saints boss Ruscoe.

The Saints began their summer with the re-signing of Ben Clark, Dean Ebbe, Blaine Hudson, Jamie Mullan, Danny Redmond, Connor Roberts, Jon Routledge and Simon Spender this week.

However the dethroned champions have parted company with long serving midfielder Aeron Edwards who has joined title winners Connahs Quay Nomads.

Robles said: "I'm very happy to join The New Saints. After speaking with Scott on several occasions, I knew it was the right move for me, and I want to thank him for the confidence shown in me. I am really looking forward to getting started."
