There are a host of events upcoming at Oswestry Rugby Club in the coming months.

On Saturday, there will be a Christmas Party at the club at Granville Park, with two parties for young and old across the day.

At 4pm until 7pm, there will be the children’s party where there will be a Santa’s grotto plus games with prizes, and coasts £3 per child.

Then from 7pm until 11pm, the seniors will be given the chance to party when they head to the club.

Entry is also £3, and there will be live music from The Mirrors.

The former player’s pre-match lunch has been confirmed for Saturday, February 1 – head to the club’s Facebook page for more details.

Meanwhile, the club took part in a national NatWest Task Force event last week.

Oswestry’s club president Martin Ord was delighted with the turnout and praised everyone.

He said: “Thank you to everyone our supported the club todays NatWest Task Force day.

“We completed every job on the list, so we added some more and guess what, you finished them too.

“Outstanding work done by everyone who came down for the big clean-up. I cannot thank everyone enough – no names, no pack drill but Kelly’s man got man of the match what a powerhouse he is,

“Thank you all Matt B, Lisa Fabo, Don, Mike, Mark, Sam, Gaz, the girls, Minis and Juniors, the old stalwarts of club – sorry if I’ve not mentioned you all.”
