Playing golf as winter approaches is always a challenge, but the ladies of Oswestry Golf Club decided to do so in their pyjamas, onesies and Pudsey outfits to raise funds for this year’s Children in Need appeal.
Only a few brave souls actually ventured out onto the course while the rest enjoyed coffee in the warmth of the clubhouse and raised nearly £120.
The ladies also held their annual Presentation Dinner recently when trophies were awarded to competition winners from throughout the year.
It was an opportunity for members to look back on another successful year.
Nearly 80 ladies enjoyed dinner before the successful group (of all ages and abilities) received their trophies from this year’s captain, Margaret Dunbar.
