Llanrhaeadr 2

Flint Town Utd 3

LLANRHAEADR twice clawed back only to suffer defeat at the hands of Flint Town United.

The Deesiders broke the deadlock on 15 minutes with Richie Foulkes releasing Mark Cadwallader to net.

Flint continued to dictate the game with Foulkes firing wide and Chris Li testing goalkeeper Jimmy Hayns before Kyle Smith headed onto the bar.

However Llanrhaeadr levelled on 34 minutes with Matt Evans steering home Iain Edmunds' corner,

Flint restored their lead early in the second-half with Foulkes feeding Callum Bratley net only for Llanrhaeadr to respond two minutes later with Joe Vaughan rising to head home Dan Hindley's cross.

With 20 minutes remaining the hosts suffered a fateful blow when Khyam Wyton was dismissed after being adjudged to have handled Brandon Burrows' shot with the resulting penalty converted by Foulkes.

Llanrhaeadr piled on the pressure in search of a third equaliser but Flint dug deep to return to Deeside with the points.
