Meanwhile Presteigne Reserves hit back to stun Rhayader Town Reserves 4-1 in the first round of the Pip Samuel Mid Wales League South Cup.
Ryan Evans fired Rhayader ahead only for Gareth Bull, Duane Anning, Finn Ozsolylu and Paul Jones to reply for Presteigne.
Brecon Corinthians remain on course for the double with Joel Evans’ hat-trick inspiring a 6-0 win at Felindre with Craig Evans, Gavin Perry and Rhys Thomas settling the outcome.
Brecon Northcote also progressed with a Kyle O’Shea double and Jordan Ingram strike completing a 3-0 win at Penybont United.
Llanidloes Town Reserves sealed a 3-1 win at Knighton Town Reserves with goals from Mason Jones, Josh Evans and Jenson Jones cancelling a Billy Hyett reply.
Elsewhere Harry Ratcliffe, Finn Branson and Dan Meredith goals earned Hay St Marys a 3-0 win at St Harmon.
Meanwhile Jordan Harvey struck twice with goals from Rob McNamara and Alex Didenko earning Talgarth Town Reserves a 4-2 extra time win over Builth Wells Reserves who remained in contention through a Michael Evans double.
