Two competitors from Team Elite Oswestry flew out to fight at the NAGA Spanish championships.
Team Ju-Jitsu coach Daryl Small fought extremely well against some tough opponents making it to the final in both his divisions. Matthew White, making his international debut, secured a gold in his No-Gi division by way of submitting his opponent via a straight foot lock.
He fought a tough battle to get to the final of his Gi division narrowly missing the top spot. They return home with one gold and three silvers between them.
Both Rich Cosgrove, head coach at Team Elite, and Darryl Small would like to congratulate Matt on his fantastic performance.
Rich has recently come back from travelling in Japan to train with some of the top fighters in the world to gain insights and to bring that knowledge back to the Team Elite club.
