SHROPSHIRE Council has approved changes to be made to an Oswestry school's Grade II-listed building.
The plans for Bellan House, in Church Street, is to remove an area of wall between a class room and a storage room, with work allowed as long as cornices are retained on a nearby stair well.
According to the planning report by Shropshire Council, the need to remove the wall has come through a rise in admission numbers leading to more space.
Planning was granted as long as the features of special architectural or historic interest which it possesses remains.
