LIVERPOOL Airport has wished The New Saints FC good luck as they prepare for their second leg UEFA Europa Conference League tie against Viktoria Plzen this week.
Saints departed Liverpool Airport for the Czech Republic on Wednesday ahead of their match on Thursday evening, where they can progress to the final qualification round of the new competition by avoiding a defeat by two or more goals.
Good luck to Welsh League side @tnsfc, who travelled with @British_Airways to the Czech Republic from Liverpool today ahead of their UEFA Europa Conference League game tomorrow night against Viktoria Plzen! 🏴⚽️

A tweet posted by Liverpool Airport ahead of their trip to Plzen read: “Good luck to Welsh league side TNS who travelled with British Airways to the Czech Republic from Liverpool today ahead of their UEFA Europa Conference League game tomorrow night against Viktoria Plzen.
“Get the win, lads.”
Anthony Limbrick’s side stunned the five-time Czech First League champions in Cardiff last week by racing to a four-goal lead, courtesy of a Blaine Hudson goal and a Declan McManus hat-trick.
But a late double from the guests in Cardiff halved the Welsh side’s advantage heading into the second leg.
Avoiding a defeat of two or more goals would see TNS progress to the next qualifying round, where teams including Tottenham Hotspur and Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma will be competing.
