A security vehicle ended up in a hedge on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened on the B5009 Whittington Road between Whittington and Gobowen at around 2.30pm.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene and a man in his 30s suffered a head injury but did not require hospital treatment.

A spokesperson for Oswestry Police said: "Thanks to those who kept the area safe and reassured the casualty until the ambulance arrived."
