POLICE are looking for two men with strong links to Shropshire who are wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking.

Martin John Gallagher, 35, and John Christopher Gallagher, 29, are wanted for questioning in relation to the significant police operation at Leighton Arches caravan park in Welshpool on Monday, June 21.

Three men have been charged with drug trafficking offences and a fourth person has been arrested after the police raids in Welshpool on Monday. Up to 80 officers were involved in the operation.

Police carried out search warrants at Leighton Arches early on Monday, during which three people were arrested. Michael Power, aged 19, and John Paul Power, aged 25, have now been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis. Patrick David Stokes, aged 32, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine. The men were remanded in police custody and were due to appear at Llandudno Magistrates Court on Wednesday, June 23.

A further man was arrested on June 22 on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cocaine, in connection with the investigation. The 24-year-old remains in police custody.

Detective Inspector Richard Lewis said: “This was a significant operation as part of our commitment to eliminate the risk caused by illegal substances in our communities.”
