CHIRK AAA will be crowned Ardal North East League champions with a point on Sunday.

Standing in their way at Holyhead Road will be Berriew who arrive determined to crash the Colliers' party in manager Dave Jones' final game at the helm.

Chirk manager Andy Pryde said: "It's a massive game against a decent Berriew team who are a well organised and disciplined side."

The Colliers go into the game knowing a point will be enough to end the faint hopes of Caersws and Cefn Albion of overhauling them.

Pryde added: "We will not be underestimating a Berriew team who rise to fifth position on Wednesday evening with a 3-3 draw against Llanfair."

Chirk go into the weekend on the back of eight consecutive wins but without the suspended Jordan MacCarter and the injured Ryan Williams and Ryan Davies.
