DOCUMENTS detailing a proposed application for planning permission for a development at a Chirk factory site can now be viewed in the town.

Kronospan, in Holyhead Road, is intending to apply for planning permission to develop a warehouse building in the north eastern area of the site.

The application also includes ancillary works such as alteration to existing bund and existing east warehouse.

Chirk Town Council has copies of the proposed application, plans and other supporting documents available at the Parish Hall for local residents to inspect.

These documents are also available at the Kronospan factory’s reception and online at https://www.axisped.co.uk/consultations/

Plans are being made available for the public to comment on directly to the developer prior to the submission of the application.

The documents are available to be viewed at Chirk Parish Hall between Monday, June 14 and Thursday, July 1.

Those wishing to view the documents at the Parish Hall can do so between 9.30am and 8pm from Monday to Thursday, and between 9.30pm and 4pm on Fridays.

Covid restrictions apply for those visiting the hall. Face masks must be worn, social distancing must be observed and test, trace and protect details are to be completed.

There will be hand sanitiser available on entry to and exit from the building.
