Dog owners are being urged to take part in a charity challenge to walk 30 miles in 30 days this November.
The Woof Walk 30 fundraiser, organised by Hope House Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices, supports children with life-threatening conditions and raises funds for vital care.
Event organiser Courtney Harris said: "The Woof Walk is the perfect way to shake off the Winter blues and get yourself outside every day – plus your dog will love it.
"We care for over 750 children who are living with a life-threatening condition.
"Every penny raised by Woof Walk 30 will go straight to providing nursing care, respite stays and precious memories for the whole family."
The event is free to enter and is held in partnership with Pet Place.
To take part, owners simply register online, commit to the 30-mile challenge, and invite friends and family to sponsor them.
A special bandana is included for each dog, and fundraising milestones unlock further rewards.
Raising £60 earns a dog treat from Pet Place, while reaching £120 secures a prize for the owner.
Pet Place has supported the event with sponsorship and resources.
Jodie Miller from Pet Place said: "We have enjoyed a long relationship with the hospices and are delighted to be on board.
"From leads and harnesses to treats and poo bags, we've got everything you need to take part with your dog.
"Don't forget to make sure you are both visible during dark walks with reflective leads and clip-on lights.
"There are so many beautiful places to explore.
"So, get involved, grab the lead and get ready for Woof Walk 30."
The challenge encourages daily walks with a purpose, turning everyday exercise into life-changing support for children and families.
