Shropshire Council has said it will be meeting with local driving instructors after they raised safety concerns due to a lack of road maintenance.
The move comes after Oswestry and District Driving Instructors Association made an official complaint to the council citing issues with road surfaces and markings.
Concerns were raised over the Maesbury Road - Maes y Clawd Junction, the Burma Road onto Whittington Road junction and Fire Station Junction.

Concerns were also raised about Mile End Roundabout, which National Highways has said has been the responsibility of Shropshire Council since it was upgraded into a dual island.
Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for highways, Cllr David Vasmer, confirmed that a meeting would be arranged to discuss their concerns.

“In relation to the complaint from the Oswestry and District Driving Instructors Association, the complaint is being investigated,” said Cllr Vasmer.
“Officers are also due to meet the complainant shortly – at their request –to discuss their concerns.
“It wouldn’t be appropriate to say more publicly ahead of this meeting.”
Cllr Vasmer stressed that improving road surfaces and fixing potholes has been “one of his top priorities” since coming into office last year.
However, he has said that the extreme weather over the last 12 months led to widespread damage across the county.
“The cold and wet weather we experienced last winter resulted in a big increase in the number of potholes on our roads, and this summer’s heatwave has also taken its toll on our highways network – so there has been a lot of repair work to carry out and there is still more to do, but we’re making good progress,” said Cllr Vasmer.
“Since the start of this year we’ve repaired almost 30,000 potholes.
“We’re also working hard to prevent potholes forming in the first place and this year we’re resurfacing more than 90 roads and have surface dressed more than 70, including roads in and around Oswestry.”
