A bonfire near Ellesmere saw firefighters called to the scene on Monday.
The incident at Haughton was responded to by crews from the town, who found the bonfire was in "close proximity" to hay bales.
They were called to a 'fire in the open' just after 11am on September 14.
The team used hosereel jets to extinguish the blaze.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "This incident involved one bonfire in close proximity to hay bales extinguished using two hosereel jets."
