A theatre is set to stage a feel-good comedy with a cause.
The Attfield Theatre will present The Full Monty from Saturday, September 26.
Evening performances will run from Monday, September 28, starting at 7.45pm each night, until Saturday, October 3.
Written by Simon Beaufoy, the play tells the story of out-of-work steelworkers who form a stripping act to raise money.
Set against the backdrop of post-1980s Thatcherite Britain, The Full Monty follows redundant steel workers Gaz, Dave and Gerald, who are joined by three other local men as they form a stripping troupe in a bid to raise money.
The result is a powerful and entertaining story filled with heartwarming humour, gritty reality, nostalgic tunes and, of course, dancing.
The production will raise funds for Prostate Cancer Research.

A special Full Monty 2027 calendar will be sold during the run, with all profits going to the charity.
The calendar is sponsored by 12 local businesses.
The calendar will be on sale from the start of the production run, with all profits going directly to Prostate Cancer Research.
Audiences are invited to come along, enjoy an uplifting night of theatre and support an important cause at the same time.
