WREXHAM legend Mickey Thomas has urged fans to keep the faith after Friday night's 6-0 thrashing at the hands of West Ham.
Phil Parkinson's side trailed 2-0 at the break but after conceding a third goal two minutes into the second half, they caved in and the Hammers cruised to victory in front of nearly 60,000 fans at the London Stadium.
It was the second Championship defeat of the season with Wrexham picking up one win and four draws from seven games to sit 20th in the table with seven points.
But former Wales international Thomas, who had two spells as a player at The Racecourse and scored the equaliser when Wrexham defeated Arsenal 2-1 to secure one of the biggest ever FA Cup giant-killing acts in 1992, is not pressing panic buttons and he wants supporters to get behind Parkinson and his players.
On his post on X, Thomas wrote: "6-0 hurts and nobody will be hurting more than the players and Phil Parkinson.
"But results like this happen. This is when we need to get behind the team and manager, not turn on them Look at the journey we’ve been on together and what Phil has achieved for @Wrexham_AFC. We stick together. We go again."

Wrexham return to action against Southampton at The Racecourse on Saturday.
The Saints lost their opening game of the season at Watford but have since gone unbeaten in six games, picking up four wins and two draws.
After starting the campaign with a minus four-point deduction because they admitted to breaching EFL regulations regarding good faith and sporting integrity, Tonda Eckert's side have climbed to eighth in the table, just four points off top spot.
