Cheshire Police confirms woman charged over Tallie death

A WOMAN accused of causing the death of Oswestry’s Tallie Brazier will appear in court next month.

Debra Green, 53 and of Salisbury Close in Crewe, was officially charged by Cheshire Police for causing the death of 22-year-old Tallie, from Oswestry, in April 2024.

The collision involving a green Hyundai Veloster and a grey Vauxhall Astra took place on the A5117in Elton, between Ellesmere Port and Chester.

Green has also been charged with causing serious injury to man who was 23 at the time.

After a two-year investigation, Cheshire Police has now confirmed the next stage following the charges.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Debra Green has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

“The 53-year-old, of Salisbury Close, Crewe, is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday, August 7.”
