Police have confirmed they are investigating a hit and run in Oswestry after a pedestrian was allegedly struck by a van.
West Mercia Police say they are also investigating an alleged robbery which is linked to the collision that happened earlier today (Monday, April 27) on the Mile Oak Industrial Estate on the outskirts of the town.
CCTV footage of the alleged incident has been circulating on social media throughout the day.

Police confirmed this afternoon that officers are investigating the collision and reports of an alleged robbery related to the incident.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We were called to Mile Oak Industrial Estate at around 10.40am this following a report of a robbery and a collision involving a van and a pedestrian.
“Nobody was seriously injured, and enquiries into both reports are ongoing.”
