An audience with former world boxing champion Joe Calzaghe has been announced for later this year at Lion Quays Resort & Spa in Weston Rhyn.

The event, scheduled for Saturday, October 10, will feature a formal evening dinner and on‑stage interview, giving fans the chance to hear Calzaghe reflect on his undefeated career and life outside the ring.

A limited number of VIP packages are being sold, including a personal signed glove and drinks package on the table.

Standard tickets are priced at £100 per person, with VIP seats costing £200.

Doors are set to open at 6pm, with organisers promising a full night of entertainment built around a meet‑and‑greet, photo opportunities and an exclusive question‑and‑answer session with the former champion.

Calzaghe retired in 2009 with a professional record of 46 wins from 46 fights, including 32 by knockout.

He first claimed the WBO super‑middleweight title in 1997 and went on to defend it more than 20 times, establishing himself as one of the division’s longest‑serving champions.

A dominant win over Jeff Lacy in 2006 and victory against Mikkel Kessler the following year cemented his standing at the top of the sport.

Moving up to light‑heavyweight late in his career, he outpointed Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr in the United States, securing his legacy as one of Britain’s most decorated fighters.
