Evening of garden inspiration to take place at Dobbies

Dobbies Moreton Park garden centre will host its free Spring Shopping Evening on Thursday, April 2, offering a celebration of outdoor living and seasonal trends for the new season.

Ayesha Nickson, events programme manager at Dobbies, said: "We are excited to invite our customers to Dobbies for our Spring Shopping Evening at the Moreton Park store, where they can discover fresh planting ideas and explore the latest outdoor living trends.

"This special event is the perfect way to kick off the season, celebrate community spirit, and spark garden inspiration.

"We can’t wait to welcome our customers and help everyone make the most of garden living in the months ahead."

Visitors will receive a complimentary drink on arrival, and the first 100 through the door will receive a free pair of gardening gloves.

Throughout the evening, guests can browse Easter Bank Holiday offers and take advantage of a free £5 gift card with a £40 spend, or £10 with a £70 spend.

Live music from community groups will provide entertainment as shoppers explore Dobbies’ in-store garden furniture and 2026 spring summer trends.

Food samples will be available from the new 'cottage kitchen garden' foodhall, and the on-site restaurant will remain open until 7.30pm for drinks and light bites.

A highlight of the evening will be the free Create Your Own Spring Container Workshop at 6pm.

Led by Dobbies’ Green Team, the session will demonstrate how to design and plant a vibrant spring container using seasonal flowers and foliage.

The team will share tips on plant combinations, soil preparation and feeding, and how to keep your container looking vibrant all season long.

Although the event is free to attend, booking is required to secure a complimentary arrival drink.
