IT WAS another lively week of darts action in the Darwin Glass and Glazing Oswestry Darts League, with the latest fixtures producing some big scores and standout performances.

The A League featured a 'Battle of the Railways' as Railway Tavern hosted a strong-travelling Railway side, who showed exactly why they are one of the form teams this season.

The visitors ran out convincing 7–1 winners, with Steve Jones hitting a maximum 180 to cap off a dominant display.

Ex‑Services B went down 5–3 at home to a well‑travelled Wynnstay outfit, who continue to keep up the pressure on the league leaders with another solid win.

Meanwhile, Ex‑Services A enjoyed a superb 7–1 victory away at Royal Oak, collecting all the points and maintaining their impressive run.

At the top end, Griffin A tightened their grip on the title race after beating newly promoted Oswestry CC 6–2 away from home. The result leaves them five points clear with a game in hand, putting them firmly on course for the A League crown.

In the B League, third‑placed Railway B fought back at home to draw 4–4 with the Lounge.

Captain Ollie Jones produced the highlight with a classy 101 checkout under pressure.

Griffin B returned to winning ways by overcoming a determined Boars Head side 6–2, keeping the promotion battle wide open and Market also stayed in the hunt after a 6–2 home win over Penybont, with vice‑captain Mike Dovaston landing a 180.

Next week sees the popular Blind Doubles at Ex‑Services.

Registration opens at 7.00 pm, closing at 7.45 pm, and all registered league players are welcome.
