An Oswestry gymnastics instructor has been crowned the winner of this year's Strictly Shropshire competition.
Helene Cook, of the Border Counties School of Gymnastics, won the annual competition with her partner Andrew Jones.
They performed the Tango to the AC/DC classic 'Thunderstruck,' taken from the Marvel movie, 'Thor', with this year's event seeing all dances inspired by movies and musicals.
Ross Millar, from Whitchurch-based Dance HQ which organises the competition, said the event went "brilliantly".
He continued: "Oh, what a night we all had on Friday evening! Thank you to everyone who came and supported our Strictly heroes on the night.
"As well as a live audience of 400, we had a livestream audience watching worldwide, from countries such as Spain, Austria, USA, Jordan and Poland!
"Our dancers did an amazing job with their routines and they all performed with huge confidence. We are so proud of everything they have achieved in just seven weeks, from learning to dance to becoming world-class fundraisers!"
The popular event raised funds for children's hospices Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith and it is predicted that this year they raise more than £120,000.

Ross added: "We are thrilled to have raised so much for Hope House and we know this money will go a long way, to supporting families in our local area, going through unimaginable times
"This takes our total raised from our four Strictly Shropshires to over £250,000. We're simply astonished, but truly thankful."
Sadly, they also confirmed on the night that this year would be the final event, adding: "We have achieved so much more than we could ever have dreamed of and what a fantastic high to bow out on.
"However, we are delighted to be continuing to support Hope House long into the future and we have many ideas already of how we shall do this."
The other awards for the evening went to Strictly professional, Ian Walker, who took home the Best Journey Award, while the Audience Champion was Sonia Mapp with more than 800 votes on the night.
Once again, the competition on Friday night was held at The Lion Quays Resort near Oswestry.
