An Oswestry holiday park has been given four industry awards by staycation specialist, Hoseasons.
Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges was named Best in Britain for the quality of its food at the company’s 18th annual Awards.
The awards celebrate the holiday parks, lodge resorts, and boating locations in the UK portfolio that have achieved the highest scores in their independent guest satisfaction surveys throughout the 2024 season.
The park was also named Best Small Lodge Escape destination in the Heart of England for the third consecutive year.
It won the Customer Choice Food Award for Lodge Escape Destinations, during the ceremony in Birmingham.
Cosmo Lloyd, joint owner of Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges, also won Pioneer of The Year for his innovative approach to tourism.
Since opening Henlle Hall in 2014, Mr Lloyd has designed and built 27 luxury staycation properties alongside on-site team.
These range from lodges to stilted treehouses.
- Emergency crews scrambled after car goes into river near Chirk
- Two men confirmed dead after Oswestry A5 Mile End crash
- Oswestry's Crucial Crew to be given award by the King after 30 years of service
The treehouse designs feature spacious kitchens, open-plan living spaces, cosy bedrooms, woodburning stoves, and verandas all completed with hot tubs overlooking the forest.
Mr Lloyd and Keeta Thomas, joint owners of Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges, said: "Winning one award is great, but winning four in one night is incredible.
"We always try to go above and beyond to provide our guests with the best holiday they can have and it’s great to see that effort being recognised."
Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges is part of Hoseasons’ Magnificent collection, a range of locations across the UK, designed for guests seeking exceptional holiday experiences.
Speaking after presenting the award, Gemma Brown, general manager at Hoseasons, said: "Cosmo and the team at Henlle Hall Woodland Lodges deserve all the accolades they get.
"The standard of accommodation, facilities, and service across our portfolio has never been higher, so to be named Best in Britain and win our special pioneer award is a fantastic achievement.
"It also highlights how they always go the extra mile to deliver exceptional experiences for their guests.
"We are grateful for their continuing partnership in this our 80th year and wish them all the best for another successful season in 2025."
