Oswestry Town Council is giving away 500 trees to residents to help tackle the climate crisis.
The Big Tree Giveaway is part of the council's campaign to combat climate change.
Since declaring a climate emergency in 2018, the council has aimed to become carbon neutral by 2030.
More than 14,000 trees have been planted in Oswestry since the first giveaway in 2021, with a target of 17,000.
Councillor Mike Isherwood, the mayor of Oswestry, said: "Trees are one of the best natural defences against climate change.
"They clean the air we breathe, lock up carbon, provide homes for wildlife and are beautiful to look at.
"Help us help the planet and pick up your free tree."
The trees will be available for collection during National Tree Week from Bailey Head on November 23 and November 27 between 10am and 2pm.
Before selecting a tree, residents are encouraged to consider what would best suit their garden.
Native varieties available include cherry, crab apple, field maple, hazel, and rowan.
The trees will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with one tree per household.
