Firefighters in Shropshire tackled a caravan fire in Oswestry that “completely destroyed” the caravan.
On Wednesday, September 25, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Services fire control received a call reporting a caravan fire on the A5 at Queens Head, Oswestry.
Two firefighter appliances were mobilised from Oswestry to the blaze, with crews tackling the fire using breathing apparatus, hosereel jets and a thermal imaging camera to deal with the fire.

Police were also at the scene, as well as an operations officer, while traffic was managed by fire service personnel as others dealt with the fire.
While the caravan itself was completely destroyed by the fire, recovery of the caravan is being arranged with the owner.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Towing caravan completely destroyed by fire.
“Crews were able to extinguish the blaze using two hosereel jets whilst wearing breathing apparatus and checked temperatures using a thermal imaging camera.
“The stop message was received at 9.38pm.”
