An Oswestry theatre company is set to perform a black comedy written by a well-known TV writer.
Attfield Theatre will be performing 'Natural Causes', written by Eric Chappell, who is best known for the hit TV series Rising Damp.
The play follows Vincent, a "professional suicide merchant", as he helps Walter Bryce dispose of his wife, Celia.
However, things take a strange turn when Vincent notices some oddities surrounding Celia's apparent suicide.

An Attfield Theatre spokesperson said: "Join the theatre for a night of dark humour, mixed drinks, and unexpected twists as the characters navigate through questions of life and death."
Performances are from Monday, September 30 to Saturday, October 5.

Founded in 1928 by G.W. Attfield, the Attfield Theatre Company is a small but vibrant amateur dramatic society based in Oswestry.
They host plays in their own 97-seat theatre in Oswestry’s Guildhall.
