An Oswestry theatre company is set to perform a black comedy written by a well-known TV writer.

Attfield Theatre will be performing 'Natural Causes', written by Eric Chappell, who is best known for the hit TV series Rising Damp.

The play follows Vincent, a "professional suicide merchant", as he helps Walter Bryce dispose of his wife, Celia.

However, things take a strange turn when Vincent notices some oddities surrounding Celia's apparent suicide.

An Attfield Theatre spokesperson said: "Join the theatre for a night of dark humour, mixed drinks, and unexpected twists as the characters navigate through questions of life and death."

Performances are from Monday, September 30 to Saturday, October 5.

The curtain is up at 7.45pm with tickets priced at £8 to £10 and are available from Ticket Source, by ringing 07544 11 35 11 or by emailing attfieldboxoffice@gmail.com.
