HALF a century of football and fundraising will be marked at a special gala later this year.
The Graham Edwards Memorial Trophy has become a beloved part of the summer football calendar in Oswestry and the Welsh border for 50 years.
The tournament was won by TNS for the first time in the club's history last month.
To mark 50 years since the first tournament and a raising money for Leukaemia Research a gala dinner will be held at Park Hall on Saturday, November 30th.

The event will feature the Bartells and compare/comedian John Martin and a two course meal is included in the £40 per person ticket while tables of ten are available to be booked for £400.
Organisers have set a smart casual dress code.
The tournament will look back on the man whose tragic death inspired the founding of the tournament in 1974.
It is played in memory of the promising footballer from Gobowen who played football for Weston Rhyn and Gobowen before he died after a battle with leukaemia at the age of 21 in 1974.
The long-running tournament features grandchildren of players who played in the original memorial trophy tournament back in 1975 and has raised more than £200,000 over the years.
The tournament is officially recognised by the Shropshire FA and is a pre-season build-up for many local teams, as well as raising money for Leukaemia Research.
