THE roads surrounding the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen have been closed due to a police incident this afternoon (May 30).
North Wales Police have urged motorists to avoid the area for the time being while it is dealt with.
At 3.21pm, a police statement read: “Please be aware that the roads surrounding the Llangollen Pontcysyllte aqueduct is currently closed whilst officers deal with an incident.
“We will update once the roads have re-opened. Thank you for your patience.”
