AN OSWESTRY man facing ‘all options including jail’ will be sentenced in three weeks after appearing unrepresented at crown court.
Kirk Hall, 32 and of Llwyn Road, was set to be sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court – sitting at Telford Justice Centre – on Friday, May 24.
He had previously – while also unrepresented – admitted two counts of causing actual bodily harm between March 30 and April 14 this year; one count of stalking between March 30 and April 21; aggravated vehicle taking and driving without insurance on March 30; and criminal damage on April 14.

However, Judge Laura Hobson heard from the defendant that he had requested representation while on remand but none had been provided for him.
This led to Her Honour issuing a call out at Telford Justice Centre for any legal representation, regardless of court status, to speak with him to arrange further representation.
This was completed with a solicitor stating to the court that instructions had been received and moves would be made to instruct a barrister.
Judge Hobson adjourned the hearing until Friday, June 14 and remanded Hall into custody.
