The air ambulance was called on Saturday after a two-car crash involving three people in Gobowen.

Land ambulance, police and fire crews also attended the scene on the B5069, Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service has said.

Two fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wellington just before 3.15pm on Saturday, May 18.

An operations officer was also in attendance.

The statement on the fire service's incident log reads: "Also at the scene of the incident were the Air Ambulance, the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

"Two vehicle RTC involving three casualties who had all self extricated and in care of ambulance crews.

"Both vehicles made electrically safe by fire service personnel."

The message confirming no additional support was required was received at 3.44pm.
