An emergency road closure to allow for water main repairs near a Powys village has started today and is expected to last until the weekend.
A road closure on the B4580 between Oswestry and Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant is expected to last from Wednesday, May 8, to Friday, May 10.
The road was closed on behalf of Hafren Dyfrdwy while they carry out emergency repairs to a mains water pipe beneath the road.
The closure has restricted the road for 24 hours a day until the repairs are carried out, with drivers advised to take alternative routes.
