A FUEL spill on a vital road near Oswestry prompted firefighters to be called out on Friday, after a road traffic collision.
One crew from Ellesmere was sent to Twmpath Lane – a second incident on the road within 12 hours - at 8.17am on Friday morning.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesman confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the collision, but no one was trapped.

Firefighters made the scene safe.
They added: “Two vehicles involved in collision with no persons trapped.

“Fire crews made both vehicles electrically safe using small gear and tools.
“A fuel spill was also dealt with by fire crews and the incident was left with police.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 8.50am to say no further support was necessary.
