A CAFE near the paddling pool in Craig-y-Don has been flooded.

A yellow weather warning for winds is in place for the North Wales coast until 3pm today (April 9).

COAST café bar & gift shop shared photos on their Facebook page showing that water had now entered the building.

At 11.50am, the tide reached 8.3 metres in Llandudno.

COAST cafe bar & gift shop posted light-heartedly on their social media at about 12pm: "Waves in the Coast café now!!"

They also added: "Anyone got an aqua vac?"

Darren Randle, who also owns the Coast Cafe in Rhos on Sea, opened his café near the Craig-y-Don paddling pool in May 2023.

The premises was previously leased by Alana Spencer, founder of Ridiculously Rich and winner of The Apprentice 2016.

"Inspections will be carried at various sites after the storm subsides."
