Oswestry's Welsh Walls has reopened after it was blocked earlier due to a crash involving "several vehicles".
The collision left road users facing delays in the town on Friday afternoon (March 15).
Officers from the Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) took to X, formerly Twitter, at 3.24pm to warn residents of delays and to avoid Welsh Walls, next to Cae Glas Park.
Officers confirmed there had been a road traffic collision on the road which connects Upper Brook Street with Willow Street.
The officers tweeted: “RTC on Welsh Walls, Oswestry involving several vehicles.
"Avoid the area, lots of traffic.”
Highways monitoring website Inrix traffic was slow in the area while Welsh Walls was partially blocked.
Police confirmed on social media shortly after 6.45pm that the road had reopened.
