A MAN was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving after a woman was left with ‘life-changing injuries’ on Friday.
A 25-year-old man was taken into custody by West Mercia Police officers after the incident shortly before 7am in Old Mapsis Way, closed to Trefonen Road.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police confirmed he was arrested after the incident.

They said: “We are currently on scene of a serious collision between a pedestrian and a car which happened at around 6.55am in Old Mapsis Way in Morda, Shropshire.
“The pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital with injuries believed to be life-changing.
“A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury through dangerous driving.”
The woman, a pedestrian, was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital by Midlands Air Ambulance with serious injuries.
