A CAR leaking fuel at an Oswestry petrol station led to firefighters being called out late on Friday night.
One crew from Oswestry was sent to the forecourt at the Morrisons petrol station in Shrewsbury Road before midnight after reports of a small spillage.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesman confirmed that firefighters attended the supermarket to deal with the spillage.

They said: “Attending crews used environment agency equipment for one hatchback vehicle with fuel leak.
“Environmental grab pack used to soak up petrol.”

A stop message was sent to SFRS control confirming no further support was needed at 11.09am.
Meanwhile, earlier on Friday, Oswestry firefighters were called to Maes Y Clawdd at around 7.30pm after reports of smoke in the area, which proved to be a false alarm.
The spokesman added: “This incident was a false alarm with good intent because of vapours from galvanisers and heat vents creating steam clouds.”
