Police have increased patrols in Pant following reports of anti-social behaviour late at night which led to upset residents.
Oswestry Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) registered complaints that people knocked on doors and windows of houses in Pant late at night on Friday, February 9.
In a post on X officials said: “We have had reports of people knocking on the doors and windows of houses in Pant, in the evening and later, including an elderly resident who finds it very upsetting.
“Increased patrols in the area have been put in place to hopefully prevent this or deal with those doing it.”

Following checks a couple of days later, the police reported no more issues.
On Sunday, February 11, they added: “After reports of Anti-Social Behaviour late in the night.
“Patrols have been completed with passing attention given to the affected areas in Pant.
“No issues at the time of patrol.”
